I made the prediction after August, 2007 that Citibank might not be around after the crisis was complete. I still think this is a possibility and may play out over the next year. They had so much exposure to the ABCP market that they will still be dealing with it for a long time.

OK, might as well get it down here. I have repeatedly said over the past week that we will be still be talking about the credit crisis and its effects on markets in one year and that it will be at least two years before its effects are fully behind us.
